AVD Oldtimer Grand-Prix 2004

 
 

The AvD hosted a nonrecurring racingweekend at the Nürburgring from 6. to 8. August. Between innumerable vintage cars, there were attended over 220 Ferraris at the 32. AvD Oldtimer Grand-Prix on the event area of the Mercedes-Arena.
Among well worth seeing wheelers like a Ferrari 250 GT Europa 2+2, 275 GTB and GTS or 365 GTC. Also supersportcars as Ferrari 288 GTO, F40, F50 and Ferrari Enzo Ferrari must not be missing.

Within the Oldtimer Grand-Prix, the races of the Shell Historic Ferrari Maserati Challenge classes A, B and C were held, too. The spectrum ranges from Ferrari 625 F1, with Alexander Boswell as pilot, over several Ferrari 250 GT SWB to the two Ferrari 512 BB LM from the years 1980 and 1981, driven by Francois Degand and Massimo Sordi.

On Sunday, the quadruple Formula 1 world champion Alan Prost, who also drove Ferrari in 1990 and 1991, was the starguest.
