First german-dutch Ferrarimeeting 2004 |

The first German-Dutch Ferrari meeting called "borderless friendship" took place on the 24th of April. It seemed almost incredible that 87 Ferraris showed up to this meeting. Because of organi-sational reasons, no more Ferraris could have been accepted to the event. This excellent saturday started at Cuijk, Nether-lands, near the German-Netherland border. The first Ferraris arrived around 8 o'clock. Among them was an Enzo Ferrari with a violently roaring engine.
After breakfast, a short introduction was held. The participants then started the engines of their Ferraris and sallied out for the first part of the route which led over beautiful country roads. After driving a distance of 110 km, the group reached Schloss Moyland near Kleve. From 12 to 15 o'clock, the participants had enough time to eat lunch. Afterwards, a choice was offered to either view the qualification of the Grand-Prix of Imola, participate in a guided castle tour, or walk through the phantasmagoric palace grounds. Then it was time for the second part of the route. "Gentlemen start your engines". The drive then led back to the Netherlands where the members reached Jachtslot de Mookerheide at 18 o'clock. There, they finished the day by gathering cosily. |
