At this time, Ferrari delivered only the bare chassis and engine. The customers or dealers could choose how the body should look like. That is one reason why most of those early cars look slightly different.
The 2 liter engine of the 166 Inter is supplied by a single Weber double carburator, placed on a pipe socked, which is warmed up by a water circulation. On its top sits a double air filter, formed like a "t".
